Foundations For Living is an 84 bed (14 males and 70 females) secure residential treatment facility for youth addressing mental health and substance abuse issues. Located on the edge of Mansfield, Ohio, in a 14 rolling, wooded acres rural setting, Foundations For Living has easy access to I-71. Foundations For Living is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMHAS) and CARF accredited. Foundations For Living offers individual, group, and family counseling to our residents. Our mission is to provide an environment of safety where youth feel empowered to heal the wounds of the past and build a foundation of hope for the future The Transportation Manager drives or rides on transports as necessary to ensure resident needs are met. MUST meet requirements of FFL insurer and remain on FFL driving list.Supervises the Transport Specialists in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing: training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining; addressing complaints and assisting in resolving problems of the staff of Transport Specialists. Schedules appointments and transportation for off campus medical appointments, coordinating timing to minimize or combine trips wherever possible. Supervises Visitation on a regular basis. Works with Milieu Coordinators to coordinate transports requiring additional staff to ensure staffing ratios are met both on the transports and on the units. Tracks the completion of paperwork from off campus medical appointments. Conducts inventory for all new youth belongings.
