Responsible for the overall development and administration of a comprehensive and integrated risk management program for Penn State Health, including inpatient facilities, outpatient and ambulatory care settings, and all clinical practice locations. The program will incorporate risk management education and consultation, the identification of risks and the implementation of risk mitigation strategies including medical professional claims control and loss prevention, and policy and procedure development based on organizational, local, state, federal, and The Joint Commission regulations and standards. The position reports directly to General Counsel
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field required.
10 years of related experience in a healthcare entity performing legal, risk, or patient safety activities is required.
Health System Academic Medical Center experience preferred.
Health System experience preferred.
