The role you’ll contribute:
The Training Manager will have oversight and management of the Training support department including training analysts and activation support team and will ensure the development and implementation of effective training plans for assigned projects. The Manager will collaborate with the Quality Manager to support training of quality initiatives for the organization. They will also collaborate with the Training Delivery Manager for the region as well as AHMG leadership to identify, assess, prioritize, and address training and development needs among practice end users. The Manager will maintain objectivity by assessing and prioritizing training needs based on performance and compliance in respect to training plan goals and targets. They will provide leadership and guidance to their team members to ensure standardized delivery among the AHMG and Physician Enterprise. The Manager will collaborate with the Physician Enterprise Practice Performance team to ensure that training content is developed and constantly refined to improve outcomes, and to ensure the training delivery supports the process improvement and optimization targets identified by the Practice Performance Consultants and AHMG leadership. The Manager will need to build and maintain effective relationships with medical group customers as well as peers and other members of the AHMG network through collaboration with clinical, financial, operations, and access team representatives to ensure the designed training access, strategies and education programs support best practice workflows. The Manager will maintain and display subject matter expertise in the current EMR and ancillary applications.

•Leads staff with exemplary practices when hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, and implementing the progressive discipline policy when necessary.
•Support the training efforts related to the current EMR, other software applications, and continuing education training across the medical group.
•Facilitate identification and resolution of process concerns, and implementation of new processes. May require working with other department directors and staff.
•Oversee troubleshooting and analyze clinical system and data analysis for resolution
•Manage, design, and implement projects directed to the team.
•Collaborate, facilitate, and oversee the makings of clinical content.
•Manages the daily operations of the training team and ensures the coordination of the work activities and staff schedules.
•Serve as a liaison between the medical groups and Physician Enterprise and AdventHealth Information Technology (AIT) teams.
•Identify significant process issues, share findings with AHMG leadership and Physician Enterprise and AdventHealth teams to improve future training materials, education methods, and monitoring tools and metrics.
•Collaboratively define and communicate best practice workflows and system use by clinical and non-clinical physician practice users.
•Promotes the use of technology to optimize clinical practices and patient outcomes
•Deploy a wide variety of training methods, reimagining creative and innovative tools, techniques, and approaches to achieve excellent comprehension, proficiency, and performance results from end users.
•Assess the delivery of effective functionality and workflow training to end users.
•Assist in performing learning needs and gap analysis and modify training plan including education strategies as needed to ensure success of the training.
•Identify and effectively communicate any potential barriers, risks, or delays as it pertains to training and the overall learning plan/strategy including challenges related to logistics, change management, user skill sets, available tools, etc.
•Collaboratively monitor and evaluate the training and education programs' effectiveness and success periodically to recommend and participate in the development and implementation of ongoing improvements.
•Actively participates in the budget process for the department
•Responsible for ensuring effective communication with all staff regarding policies, procedures, forms, changes, and requirements.
•Ensures all staff adheres to compliance regulations, AHMG policies and procedures
•Ensures that staffs time and attendance are tracked in a timely fashion
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED:
•Possesses extensive knowledge of EMR and application support strategies, including collaboration with AIT, that are associated with offices and service lines offered within AHMG
•Possesses extensive knowledge of adult learning styles and training delivery in support of physician practice operations including adoption of practice management and EHR systems.
•Possesses knowledge of how to identify education and training needs in a healthcare setting and participate in related program development and instruction.
•Possesses extensive experiencing implementing and coordinating traditional and modern training methods and techniques.
•Possesses working knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
•Demonstrates ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinator, monitor and evaluate) within an ambulatory healthcare environment.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
•Associate or 10 years of highly relatable experience
•Five to Seven years training experience in the healthcare environment
•Five years physician practice operations experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associate or 10+ years’ experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelor's degree
•Experience in adult learner education/teaching experience
•Experience with process improvement methods and tools, e.g., Lean/Six Sigma
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFFERED:
•Medical Assistant Certificate
•Nursing License
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises 5-10 training and support staff
