Accountablefor facilitating informatics processes, enhance coordination, training, supportprocesses and provide overall direction for clinical informatics requiring theuse of leadership and decision-making abilities. Serve as the liaison between InformationServices (IS), physicians, the community and nursing regarding clinical ISinitiatives. This role is a coordinator for informatics resources and clinicalIS initiatives relating to clinical departments and electronic health recordsystems. The CITL will sometimes lead projects of varying size (e.g.,departmental, enterprise).
Bachelor'sDegree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Nursing Required
Currentlylicensed to practice as a registered nurse by Pennsylvania Board of NurseExaminers required
5years of related experience required
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Committed tosatisfying customers and exceeding their expectations, anticipates potential problemsand creates contingency plans, builds and fosters trust and credibility withcustomers, follows through on commitments and strives for quick resolution ofcustomer issues
Abilityto present analytical detail to departmental and organization leadership in amanner that can be understood

Mustremain current on healthcare policies, protocols and regulatory rules
Clinicalinformatics experience focused on the implementation and support of clinicalapplications/databases in a hospital and/or ambulatory provider environmentis strongly preferred
Certification in Informatics Preferredwithin 5 years (RN-BC in Informatics orCPHIMS)
