General Description of the Job Class Provides leadership in the development and implementation of Duke Medicine Access Services initiatives related to ambulatory scheduling processes and capabilities. Responsible for the effective organization and supervision of assigned employees and resources within the DMAS departments. Ensures an optimum environment for the efficient performance of customer/patient contact, patient referral, and ambulatory appointment scheduling activities.
